Ayelet Sachto

Ayelet is an award-winning technical leader, speaker, mentor and author with 20 years experience in the software industry. Currently a Site Reliability Engineer @Google, formerly Strategic Cloud Engineer and leading PSO-SRE efforts in EMEA. Throughout her career, She developed and designed large scale applications and data flows, while implementing DevOps and SRE's methodologies. Ayelet is an active member in the tech community, in her spare time, she loves creating things whether it's a dish in the kitchen or a piece of code.
Ayelet has extensive experience building technical communities and she led successful global enablement frameworks (internal reach of >15k). In addition, she initiated, led, facilitated and participated in outreach activities in the tech community, created dozens of assets (with +10k users), organised dozens of events (100+ ppl each), conducted hundreds of mentoring sessions, talks and workshops, was an open source contributor and more (See: Advocacy examples).
Furthermore, Ayelet is a disability inclusion advocate both internally and externally, (e.g. Lead initiatives , delivered workshops , raise awareness with allies etc). For her community efforts, Ayelet received Google's SRE DEI Recognition Award for her contributions in 2021, was a runner up for Dasa-DevOps Community-member-Award and most recently received Google's Disability inclusion advocate award for advancing Disability Inclusion (See: Volunteering examples).
